HOLYBROOK HOUSE, BEAR WHARF, READING

 
 

Phase one of a comprehensive river side development on waste land in the centre of Reading. The complete project will comprise of 89 units on 1.5 acres, designed around a garden square and utilizing refurbished former brewery buildings as leisure facilities.

 

Holybrook House comprises of 12 2-bedroom apartments arranged to give each a view over the new garden square or across the River Kennet. The design responds to the tradition of urban river and canal side buildings with a Dutch gable end to the River Kennet and distinct town house bays facing onto the garden square. The ground floor base contains residents parking and provides a terrace to the first floor apartments.
