ROBERT ADAM MADE HONOURARY SECRETARY OF RIBA

Robert Adam has been elected as the Honorary Secretary of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).  The RIBA is not only the professional institution for architects in Britain but also the largest organisation awarding architectural qualifications in the world. The honorary title does not involve a significant volume of work but is an important position in the formation of RIBA policy.  Robert Adam, who has been a Councillor of the RIBA, elected by the membership, for two years says:  “This is a great honour and shows that the RIBA recognises traditional and classical architecture.  I hope to serve my profession and the public while maintaining an important portfolio of classical projects”.
