The report is to be a significant piece of original work. Sources are to be identified and referenced to acknowledge intellectual debt to the authors and support specific facts.

There is to be no subsequent change to the title or scope of the project as presented at the interview. Likewise the completed project is to be presented in the agreed format and within the agreed timeframe. It is recognised however that, for practical reasons, modifications may become necessary, but these are not to be made without the prior agreement of Robert Adam Architects.

The individual who is awarded the scholarship must be prepared to present his or her work in person to the Directors and other members of Robert Adam Architects.

Robert Adam Architects will have joint copyright of the report and reserve the right to publish it in whole or in part.

The winner agrees to be available for media interviews should these be appropriate and for their name and image to be made available to and published in the media.

Proof is required of travel and of adequate travel and health insurance cover.

The prize of £1,500 will be paid in 2 tranches. £750 at the time the scholarship is awarded and a further £750 on the presentation of the report and receipt of proof of travel and insurance.

Robert Adam Architects will take no responsibility for travel or other administrative arrangements which are to be entirely in the hands of the individual concerned.

Robert Adam Architects accepts no liability in respect of the personal safety of the winner or any other outcome that may result from the award of this scholarship.
