The local community have approached the principal land owner, the Duchy of Cornwall, to assist them with the preparation of a masterplan for the expansion of this small village. The Duchy and Robert Adam Architects have identified three sites which will be developed to form a natural extension to the village and provide approximately 16 new houses. These sites would introduce a limited number of new families to revitalise village life.

A variety of designs have been prepared for each site with different building groups and mixes of housing. These have been presented to the village in a series of public meetings. The comments of the villagers has led to the preparation of a detailed masterplan for future development by independent builders.
